John Lees Meeting - HUGE Success 23rd Feb 2009
The February Meeting of the Campbelltown Chamber of Commerce saw John Lees giving us a special Business Presentation as well as some great laughs and entertainment.
Two of the boys from Simply Bushed brought along their acoustic guitars, aussie songs, and some great harmonies to entertain us on the night.
Giving us some old covers and playing us some very well recieved original songs. One of the songs which was very well received was their new song The Great Australian Love Song, as well as many others.
We look forward to the boys playing at the Expo next month.
John's presentation saw him enter the stage with 3 large writing pads set up on stands so we were all expecting a regular "Business Presentation". Within the first 3 minutes everyone in the room was bellylaughing as John put us all into a fantastic mood with his very funny opening.
John covered several topics but kept his focus on what most businesses DON'T do to go to the next levels.

There were many winners on the night, bottles of wine, vouchers etc, but this year sees a new prize. The Campbelltown Chamber is giving away $500 to any Chamber Member in the room, to spend at any other Chamber Members business. The lucky winner of this months giveaway was Ken O'Keefe of The Ultimate Suspension.
Next Months meeting will be at the Macarthur Lifestyle and Business Expo 2009 Networking Cocktail Function. This is a combined meeting seeing the Expo Function, the Campbelltown Chamber and the Camden Chamber of Commerce having a joint meeting at this one function. Its great to see local Chambers pulling together on such events in the Macarthur area.
